La Folie Saint-James school campus includes teaching facilities (middle school/high school), 2000m² underground gymnasium and corporate housing.
4-storey buildings and 55-space basement car park.
Technical characteristics
Onsite water table required construction of 24m deep peripheral wall with self-draining raft slab and automatic pump to retention tank.
It includes building underground gymnasium to support part of school in superstructure.
Accordingly, beams in gymnasium 1,80 metres deep and span 30 metres.
Environmental characteristics
The building was calculated according to RT 2000.
