Programme
The project involves the major restructuring, refurbishment, demolition/reconstruction and extension of the existing residence on a site of around 14,000 m², comprising 3 main existing buildings. The project includes:
- Major restructuring of buildings A & B,
- Refurbishment of building C,
- The construction of a new building C',
- The construction of an extension A'.
At the end of the construction and refurbishment work, the "Les Chênes" site will include 266 housing units as well as shared spaces, offices, community facilities, laundry rooms and bicycle storage.
Technical characteristics
The existing concrete buildings are being renovated and restructured.
New reinforced concrete extensions are also planned.
The existing heating system (gas-fired) has been kept, but particular care has been taken to improve interior comfort through insulation and the building envelope.
The interior sanitary fittings and facilities have been refurbished, as have the interior fittings.
